Helistrat has announced the renewal of its contract with discount retailer Poundland, in a contract worth in excess of £1m per annum.
The new deal will see Helistrat further increase recycling rates and leverage the commercial and environmental benefits of effective secondary resource management.
Commenting on the announcement, Helistrat CEO, Harvey Laud, said: “We look forward to continuing our partnership with Poundland to reduce the amount of waste produced, increase the amount that can be recycled and develop innovative ways realise the value of their material. The work we undertake ensures that they not only manage their waste in a sustainable and cost-effective manner but also supports them in developing the environmental credentials of their brand.”
Helistrat’s three-year contract is for Poundland and Dealz stores in the UK and ROI, including Poundland’s Distribution Centres in Harlow, Bilston, Willenhall and Wigan. Helistrat provides a dedicated Account Manager who is embedded in the Poundland Operations Team as well as 360° wraparound helpdesk service, management data and reporting capability and compliance auditing.
