The SUEZ group has announced a new organisational structure which separates its waste and recycling business from its water business and into a new “operational division”.
The announcement of the new organisations, which are part of SUEZ’s wider strategy, also includes the appointment of two new members to the Group’s Executive Committee.
Announced in September 2022, SUEZ says its new strategy aims to make the Group the “trusted partner” for circular solutions in water and waste recycling & recovery.
To reflect this new ambition, SUEZ says it is redefining its organisation around two major principles: two operational divisions focusing on the Group’s two core businesses, Water and Recycling & Recovery, and three cross-group units, Engineering & Construction, Digital Solutions, and Innovation.
I have every confidence in the ability of this top-class international team to place the company at the service of all our stakeholders.
Full details of the Group’s overall organisation will be announced in July, SUEZ says, after completion of the information-consultation process of employee representatives.
SUEZ says its two new members of its Executive Committee will report to Sabrina Soussan, Chairman and CEO of SUEZ.
Yves Rannou was appointed as Chief Operating Officer Recycling & Recovery, Executive Vice-President, effective before Summer 2023. The Group says he will lead all the teams worldwide that are responsible for supporting local authorities and businesses in recycling and recovering their waste.
SUEZ says in 2021, this division generated 45% of the Group’s revenue and comprises more than 23,000 employees working on behalf of clients in 7 countries.
Jörg Linsenmaier was appointed Executive Vice-President Engineering & Construction, effective May 2nd. SUEZ says he will lead all the engineering, procurement and construction teams worldwide.
Yves Rannou and Jörg Linsenmaier complete a diverse, multicultural Executive Committee team with a wide array of experience.
Sabrina Soussan, Chair and CEO of SUEZ, commented: “I warmly welcome the appointment of Yves Rannou and Jörg Linsenmaier. They will bring to the Group their valuable experience in the environment and energy sectors, internationally and across a variety of disciplines and companies, tying in with our own activities.
