About

For over 30 years Coastal Recycling has been providing an extensive range of recycling and waste management for businesses, local authorities and households across Devon.

Coastal Recycling was borne from the waste management division of Devon County Council and since becoming a private company in 1998, we have established a reputation for providing a reliable and personal service, not only working with large companies and corporate clients, but the small businesses that form the lifeblood of Devon.

Our services include skip hire, commercial waste (wheelie bins), roll-on roll-off containers, confidential shredding, organic waste and environmental monitoring. We operate across four sites over the county, employing a team of more than 150 people. Across our services, we handle 312,000 tonnes of material each year of which over 90% will be recycled.

Our aim is to maximise the recycling and recovery of resources and work with our customers and communities to achieve a more sustainable future.

In June 2021 we celebrated becoming an employee-owned business. Employee-ownership means we operate for the benefits of all who work here and allows employees to have a significant and meaningful stake in our business.
